Something About You

So to say the truth, the first time I listened to Hayden James' new EP i wasn't too impressed, especially after his hit "Permission to Love", I was expecting just a little more.
But then I came to notice, most of his tracks really need some time to grow on you. I've had this track on loop the last few days, and I seem to get more and more entranced by it every listen.

The song has a very muted sound to it, both in terms of vocals and in synths. A real hidden sound to it.
The vocals really add weight to the groove of the track. They seem to mend perfectly with the bass line. Almost reminiscent of the very similair Tensnake track "Something About US" I featured previously.
