#Cigartunes
So you thought this was over? Nope: this is part of a series of features that go great with a nice cigar in your lounge.
So for today, I thought I would bring out another one of my classics. I was first introduced to this song while living in the amazing city of Singapore. I'm sure we heard this song countless times while sitting on the roof of friend's house playing poker (an experience I recommend to everyone). Ever since then I always keep coming back to this great piece of music.
The song in question is a jazz cover of "Don't stop the music" by Rihanna. It's amazing what a piano, some jazzy sounds and a new singer can do to typical pop lyrics. But this song is more then that; the melody has gotten reworked and improved, and the song has much more passion then the original dancefloor beat.
I've heard some very convincing stories of Jamie Cullum's flawless drunken piano playing, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were true, he appears to be one of this genreation's great jazz artists along with the likes of Michael Bublé.
Anyway, take a listen and let me know if you guys like it so I can feature more similair content.
