So today I want to bring you one of my recent discoveries. As I was listening to the DA.TAPE mixtape, one song in particular caught my attention, yet despite having the track name, I could not find it anywhere! Now I know why; it wasn't released yet!
BlueCar by Dabeull reaffirms my absolute love for Roche musique, as I know he also has had a relation with them in recent times. It seems the label can do nothing wrong!
The track itself begins with a heavily reverbed, and muted drum line. Then Holybrune's meloncholic vocals come in to tie the poppy track together like icing on a delicious cake tune. The song keeps an addictive rhythm together with a lot of space, something that gives it a conflicting nature. Oddly familiar, like "Don't Matter" by Cherokee, but at the same time distinct and fresh.
I'm not only exited to feature Dabeull, because of his amazing songs, (seriously check out his Soundlcoud, you will find this for free download - merci beacoup Dabeull!) but because of his other talents.
