Sometimes I get so caught up in trying to find the latest and greatest music, that I forget to come back to the classics in my library and give them proper attention.
Despite this, It amazes me that I have yet to feature Bonobo, perhaps my favorite artist on my very own music blog!
I had a hard time choosing what song to feature first, but eventually I decided on Kiara. Even though it is not my favorite work of Bonobo's (I prefer the more lyrical, slow paced and instrumental works) I chose Kiara because it is the first song that got me to start listening to Bonobo, as well as it is likely his best known song.
It is a very glitchy and exiting song that layers well violins with chopped vocals. Please give it a listen.
I will be feature more of Bonobo's work soon, but if you want to get a head start, i highly recommend the albums: Black Sands and a Days to Come.
